Myrtle Beach Macaroni Kid is so excited to partner with the girls behind this great event! We got to spend some time with Dorothy, Dell and Jennifer today as they shared with us some behind-the-scenes perspective.
My favorite comment (and most relatable) was "Babies keep us in business". How true! After eleven years and twenty-three successful sales, it is working and the babies, moms, grandmas and more keep on coming back for more.
The event is more than just a retail pop-up. It is about building a community of motherhood, support and fun. An outlet to declutter your life and score some major deals. A chance to reconnect with mom-friends you may only see twice a year. The relationships built between the organizers and their shoppers and consignors turn into lifelong friendships of watching families grow year after year, sale after sale. Not only is this a fun experience of games while waiting in line and surprise "free checkout" giveaways, Beach Babies Kidsale gives back to the community. Consignors have the option to donate remaining items to Fostering Hope, a non-profit organization that supports local foster children and families. You will earn yourself extra savings by bringing feminine products to the event which will be donated to the Homeless Period Project.
