In years past, I would excitedly await the big lovebird holiday to see how my honey, now husband, would surprise me. He would plan an extensive date night of happy hour, dinner & drinks, a new location for dessert and then somewhere else for a night cap and adult conversation. Believe me, they were amazing times! Now, I look forward to even more love and fun with a family date night full of laughter and snuggles. The awe on my child's face at every new experience and the bonding my husband and I share are a welcome change from the date nights of past. Don''t get me wrong, we find time for our own romance, but feel it is so important to make this holiday a family celebration and a way to teach our kids how to express fondness for others!
